My boy turns 4 today!
Four years ago I worked an 8 hour shift, went home to shower and pack the last of the essentials before heading to dinner. The food sucked the service was just as bad, but then again maybe we were all nervous. I went to the hospital to be induced. I thought briefly they were going to send us back home because of a minor paperwork issue dealing with changing of my last name.I was eventually hooked up and induction started. 33 1/2 hours later, they decided that Squirt wasn't going to fit and I was going to have to deliver via C-Section.
My little man was born June 10, 2006 at 2:56 a.m. weighing 8 pounds, 4 ounces and was 21 inches long.
Grandma was the first to hold him and was able to show him off to Papa, Uncle Bubba, Great-Aunt Deanie and cousin Zack before headed for check ups and bath in the nursery.
It was definately love at first site. No questions asked. Everything was perfect!
Papa was hooked too!
Uncle Bubba held him only because I pretty much dumped him in his lap. Uncle Bubba wasn't too sure but it didn't take long. Now the two are best buds.

I returned to work within two weeks and we would pretty much both crash early!
1st Birthday, what else, John Deere. Uncle Dan and Aunt Caroline have made all his cakes!
2nd Birthday was cars look at the cake!
Today he's pushing 4 ft and 50 pounds, though I don't know the exact stats. This weekend we're celebrating at the lake. Aunt Caroline and Uncle Dan are working up another awesome cake and as long as the weather holds, I think we're going to camp out for the first time!
